Become an Orthopedic Surgeon Specializing in Arthroplasty with Us in Mather, California

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in Arthroplasty to deliver exceptional, patient-focused care to Veterans. Position Highlights:
  • Emphasis on primary and revision arthroplasty , along with opportunities to assist in general orthopedic procedures.
  • Allocated OR block time, backed by skilled anesthesia and surgical teams.

  • A well-balanced schedule that includes dedicated administrative time.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and management for patients needing joint replacement.
  • Perform both operative and non-operative orthopedic services, including total joint surgeries.
  • Participate in call coverage and interdisciplinary team discussions.
  • Ensure adherence to VHA policies, documentation standards, and quality metrics.
  • Engage in teaching, committee participation, or process improvement initiatives as appropriate.
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Fellowship training in Arthroplasty is highly preferred.
  • Unrestricted medical license valid in any U.S. state or territory.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
