Registered Nurse Operating Room

This facility provides care to 13,000 patients each year. It treats more than 50,000 patients in its emergency room. The facility is accredited by the Joint Commission, a nationally recognized accrediting agency for healthcare facilities. Surgical services offered include: Da Vinci Robotic Surgery, Spine, Orthopaedic, Vascular, Thoracic, Interventional Pain Management, Interventional Cardiology, Gynecological, General, Oral, Urological, Eye, and Trauma/Emergency Services. The unit has 7 operating room beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. Electronic Health Records system used is Meditech. The position reports to the Director of Surgical Services or the Assistant Director of Surgical Services. This role serves a diverse patient population, including all ages. There may be a requirement for call coverage, including 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month.

Experience as a circulating nurse in the following specialties: General, GYN, Vascular, Client, Urology, Podiatry, DaVinci Robot is required. The dress code consists of scrubs supplied by the facility. Casual wear and other facility-branded attire are not acceptable.
