Utilize your expertise in assessment, evaluation, and collaborative problem-solving as you support student development and success. Preferred candidates are ready to work onsite, although various site placements are possible. You’ll join a team dedicated to identifying student needs, facilitating qualification for services, and collaborating within IEP teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Florida DOE School Psychologist credentials
- Current School Psychologist license in Florida
- Experience working with K-12 populations is highly valued
- Familiarity with student assessment tools and evaluation methods
- Strong commitment to collaborating with educational staff and families
- Flexibility to serve at more than one school site if needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments and evaluations
- Identify and determine student eligibility for special education services
- Serve as a member of the IEP team, participating in meetings and planning
- Provide consultative support to staff and families regarding student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and case records
- Adapt to varying schedules or school assignments as required
