Job Summary

Job Summary

Under general supervision coordinates and provides professional mental health and social services including individual group and family therapy clinical assessments and consultative services to students parents and District personnel in both the homes of students and at school sites; ensures compliance with applicable State and Federal laws codes and regulations (HIPAA and FERPA) related to student support and wellness service; and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

LICENSE REQUIRED Possession of a valid and appropriate California drivers license. Possession of or in-process of obtaining a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) and/or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). EDUCATION A Masters degree in Counseling Psychology Social Work Marriage and Family Therapy or closely related field that qualifies for obtaining either Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license. EXPERIENCE Two years of professional experience in providing therapeutic mental health and/or social services to children and/or adolescents is required. Experience with at promise students providing therapeutic mental health and social services in a school setting and/or experience working in public education preferred.
