Job Details

Responsibilities:

As the Director of Accounting, you will be at the forefront of our financial operations, providing strategic direction and oversight to our global accounting function. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Leading and managing the global accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
2. Overseeing global tax planning and compliance, including the development and implementation of effective tax strategies.
3. Managing the global consolidation process, including the coordination of financial statement reviews and audits.
4. Overseeing intercompany accounting, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
5. Implementing and maintaining IFRS standards across the organization.
6. Leading ERP implementation projects, ensuring the successful integration of financial systems.
7. Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures in line with SAP best practices.
8. Providing strategic financial guidance to senior management, including the development and implementation of financial strategies to drive business growth.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA is highly desirable.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role, with a focus on global tax, global consolidations, intercompany accounting, IFRS, ERP implementation, and SAP.
3. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
4. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of IFRS standards.
5. Experience with ERP implementation, preferably with SAP.
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic financial guidance.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
