Description
  • Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments while crafting tailored treatment strategies
  • Deliver focused physical therapy interventions aimed at restoring mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
  • Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, case workers, and other rehabilitation professionals, to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Guide patients and families through therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise routines
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with institutional and regulatory standards
  • Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to promote cohesive care delivery
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or comparable degree from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Preferred CPR certification
  • Additional specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are advantageous but not essential
Skills
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable
