Assurance Services Department (ASD) | 1–5 Years' Experience Role Summary We are seeking an Assurance Advanced Staff member to join our growing Assurance Services Department (ASD). This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career assurance professional with roughly one to five years of experience who is ready to take on greater ownership, sharpen their technical skills, and grow alongside a supportive team. You will work directly on client engagements, collaborate with seniors and managers, and build a strong foundation for a rewarding long‑term career in assurance. What You’ll Do Execute assigned sections of audit, review, and compilation engagements across a variety of industries and client sizes. Perform testing of account balances, transactions, and internal controls, and document work clearly in accordance with firm and professional standards. Prepare workpapers, financial statement schedules, and supporting documentation for review. Communicate professionally with clients to gather information, resolve open items, and build trusted relationships. Collaborate with seniors and managers, escalating issues and sharing observations as engagements progress. Take increasing ownership of engagement areas as your experience grows, mentoring newer staff along the way. Stay current on accounting and auditing standards and apply them thoughtfully to client situations. What We’re Looking For Approximately 1–5 years of experience in assurance, audit, or a closely related accounting role. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and a genuine interest in growing your assurance expertise. Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Clear written and verbal communication skills and a client-service mindset. A collaborative, coachable attitude and eagerness to learn—we can teach motivated people from varied backgrounds. Preferred But Not Required CPA license (or active progress toward it) is a plus—but not required to apply. Prior experience in public accounting is required, a regional accounting firm is preferred.
