Lead AI Field Architect

Role Description

We’re hiring a Principal AI Field Architect to help our enterprise customers put AI to work. You’ll be one of the people who turns AI capabilities into things customers can actually run — bringing the hands-on model expertise and engineering judgment that most enterprise architecture practices are still developing.

Qualifications

• Something you taught yourself and built because you wanted to.
• A working habit of building with AI.
• Cloud and API fundamentals.
• Familiarity with the modern AI stack.
• Some exposure to local model infrastructure.
• A sense for enterprise IT.
• Clear communication and composure.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Real work with enterprise APIs in production contexts.
• Practical experience with AI architecture, agentic workflows, and standards like Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience running or experimenting with local model deployments using something like vLLM, MLX, or similar.
• Understanding of enterprise infrastructure and data pipelines.

Benefits

• Base compensation for this position ranges from $155K - $214K.
• This position is remote-friendly.
• Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
