Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients with cardiac and other telemetry monitoring needs, working within a dynamic cardiovascular unit that includes various other units in the organization. The position requires adaptability to float across multiple units, including MedSurg/Telemetry, Critical Care, and Surgical units, with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.

Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour days, weekends as scheduled, with a schedule of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/26/2026 and ending on 01/25/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or equivalent setting; location requirements as specified.
• Experience or 'Must have' skills: All travelers must pass a cardiac rhythm exam; experience caring for patients with CHF, Cardiac catheterization, chest pain, pneumonia, chronic renal disease, COPD, Orthopedic, and Oncology patients.
• Additional Responsibilities: Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips; work in a fast-paced environment with patient ratios mainly 1:5-6, occasionally 1:7 depending on acuity; float between multiple units including MedSurg and Critical Care.
• Schedule details: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; every other weekend and holiday rotation included; unit report and assignment procedures involve reporting to the clinical coordinators office prior to shift start.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required for all candidates.
• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs.
• Orientation: 1-2 shifts with a preceptor in the department.
