Job Summary Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Manchester, Connecticut. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life in hospitals, clinics, or rehabilitation centers. Dates and Compensation Start Date: 05/18/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week (8‑hour shifts) Working Hours: 8 hours per day Employment Type: Travel PT Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Connecticut Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in physical therapy Previous physical therapy experience (new graduates welcome) Other certifications or licenses relevant to the position Essential Work Functions Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history. Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Apply various physical therapy techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate and maintain specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities. Assist in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients.
