Job Summary: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Nampa, Idaho. The organization is seeking an RN to provide specialized neonatal care within a Level II NICU setting. Responsibilities include supporting newborn stabilization, performing required assessments, and assisting with high-risk deliveries and cesarean sections as part of the care team. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 shift hours; minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license (license to submit); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; Stable certification; NICU experience with the ability to attend deliveries and stabilize newborns including eyes & thighs and a 2-hour assessment; ability to attend scheduled, urgent, and emergent cesarean sections; 3 years of NICU experience (first-time travelers acceptable).
• Preferred Qualifications: A background in mother-baby care (with experience where NICU nursing may support both mother and infant, and care for an additional baby if needed).
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other NICU locations within the organizations sites (Meridian, Nampa, Boise) in the primary skill set (L&D, Postpartum, or Antepartum) or as a sitter.
• Additional Information: The NICU is embedded within womens services; continuous monitoring is available via centralized monitoring. Hospital-issued scrubs are required, including changing at the beginning and end of each shift. Unit orientation is 3 days in the unit, and EPIC and required Curio assignments must be completed before start. A no fingernail lacquer policy is enforced in the department (no acrylic or gel nails). No call is required. Weekends and holidays may be scheduled based on unit needs.
