Location: Baldwin Hills, CA
Setting: ABA-Based Facility Serving Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Schedule: Part-time to start, with opportunity to build into full-time hours
Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 annually, based on experience and schedule growth

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a newer ABA-based facility serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a great opportunity for a motivated BCBA who is excited to help build and grow clinical programming within an expanding treatment environment.

This role will begin in a part-time capacity with the goal of growing into full-time hours as the facility continues to develop and expand its services. The position is structured as temp-to-hire, offering the opportunity for long-term placement with the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, experience developing and overseeing behavior intervention plans, and a passion for supporting individuals with developmental and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and skills-based assessments
• Develop, implement, and update individualized behavior intervention plans
• Provide clinical oversight and supervision to behavior technicians and direct support staff
• Monitor client progress and adjust programming based on data and treatment outcomes
• Train staff on behavior intervention strategies, data collection, and client-specific protocols
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, clinical team members, and facility leadership
• Ensure ABA programming is implemented consistently and ethically
• Review and analyze behavioral data to guide clinical decision-making
• Participate in treatment planning meetings and ongoing care coordination
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Support the development of clinical systems, policies, and workflows as the facility grows
• Promote a safe, structured, and supportive environment for clients and staff

Qualifications

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Experience developing behavior intervention plans and supervising ABA services
• Strong understanding of ABA principles, ethics, and evidence-based behavioral interventions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a newer and growing facility environment
• Strong communication, leadership, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to train and support staff in behavior management and clinical implementation
• Must be reliable, professional, and comfortable helping build programming from the ground up

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in an ABA clinic, residential program, day program, school-based setting, or developmental disability facility
• Experience supervising RBTs, behavior technicians, or direct care staff
• Experience supporting program development in a newer or growing facility
• Familiarity with high-needs behavioral populations and crisis prevention strategies
