Baya Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Lake City, Florida Job Summary As a COTA, you will provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, assisting in the implementation of treatment plans to support patient rehabilitation and recovery. This is an hourly per diem position, offering competitive compensation and opportunities for growth and advancement. Key Responsibilities Provide Occupational Therapy services as directed by the Occupational Therapist. Assist in patient evaluations and assessments as needed. Support the development and execution of individualized treatment plans, including short-term and long-term goals. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions under Occupational Therapist supervision. Communicate patient progress and any concerns to the Occupational Therapist. Document patient treatment and progress in medical records. Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
