The foundation of BV Operations provides the ability to align your skills to project needs and provides a collaborative and innovative culture offering greater challenges and career development opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesIn support of and alignment to growth strategy for the BV Water Solution Business in the West region, create relationships with clients and act as a liaison between the local design team, client, and remote design teams.Lead business development efforts for I&C-related master plans and design projects. Expectation is to produce marketing content specific to each pursuit, negotiate contracts, and lead projects.Pursue and lead SCADA Assessments and Master Plans to advise utilities on how best to upgrade or replace existing SCADA systems to support operations and maintenance.Manage and coordinate marketing, planning, design and construction phase services for automation, instrumentation, control and SCADA projects for water and wastewater utilities and industrial water pursuits. Lead execution and take overall responsibility for I&C design projects as well as coordinate I&C engineering efforts for large multi-discipline projects.Provide local interface by attending client and contractor meetings, performing field investigations, attending factory acceptance testing, and helping to resolve I&C client and construction issues. Monitor and control project schedule and budgets and assist with proposals and presentations in response to sales opportunities. Preferred QualificationsThe successful candidate will possess a mix of excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills, demonstrated management capabilities, I&C design experience, and broad I&C technical knowledge.10 years’ experience in instrumentation, control, and automation design consulting 4 years’ experience in water/wastewater industry 2 years’ experience in project management and business development.  Minimum QualificationsRequires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing or equivalent experience in Engineering work. Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
