About the Role:
In this critical role, you will be responsible for coordinating staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for our patients and team members. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop staffing plans, track utilization, and make data-driven decisions to optimize our staffing model. Your exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities will enable you to effectively manage multiple priorities, troubleshoot issues, and provide exceptional support to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate staffing schedules for our nursing and therapy teams, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing overtime
• Develop and maintain staffing plans, tracking patient census, and making data-driven decisions to optimize our staffing model
• Collaborate with the interdepartmental team to identify and resolve staffing conflicts and issues
• Provide exceptional customer service to our patients, families, and team members
• Monitor and report on staffing metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with our nursing and therapy teams, as well as other hospital departments
