Assistant Nurse Manager - Operating Room

It involves direct reports, staff development, performance evaluations, and managing productivity to meet departmental goals. Key Responsibilities: Manage hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development for staff. Develop and monitor departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, adjusting to business needs. Oversee patient care planning, documentation, and implementation based on assessment and medical treatment. Coordinate staff scheduling, payroll updates, and address variations in staffing hours. Conduct performance reviews, issue corrective actions, and support staff disciplinary processes. Qualifications & Skills: Required Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree; RN license. Experience: 2-5 years in nursing; supervisory experience preferred. Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Preferred Experience: 5-10 years in nursing; less than 2 years of supervisory experience. Additional Information: Requires OR experience; supervisor or charge experience is a plus.
