Yard And Warehouse AssociateField Shop Permian Midland - Midland, TX 79706OverviewPosition Type Full Time Job Shift Day Education Level High SchoolDescriptionSUMMARY OF POSITION:The Yard and Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in managing the efficient flow of parts and supplies within the warehouse and yard. This position involves receiving materials, conducting shipping and receiving tasks, and ensuring the overall organization of the yard. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are crucial for this role, as responsibilities extend to paperwork completion and related computer work, inventory management, and equipment operation.RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain a clean yard environment including warehouses, fences and open areas which are free of weeds, trash, and other obstaclesManage accurate inventory of parts and suppliesAdhere to all Flogistix safety procedures and guidelines and maintain safety trainingSafely load and unload materials, operate equipment and perform daily inspectionsProvide support for yard operationsPerform general housekeeping in order to maintain an organized warehouseUtilize technology to perform data entry into respective systems timely and accuratelyReceive, classify, stock incoming goods, and pull merchandisePerform cycle counts of stock to ensure accurate cleanup of maintained inventoryCreate deliveries and shipments for all parts shipping outPick materials, components and end products and deliver them to production or shippingUse a forklift to assist with various warehouse and yard tasksProvide professional customer service at all timesUnload incoming merchandise, check receiving paperwork and store in proper bin locationPull merchandise per loading ticket and prepare package in staging area for delivery or pickupEnsure proper merchandise pulled according to loading ticketParticipate in the execution of scheduled cycle countsPressure wash equipment in yard, if neededWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditionsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsWORK REQUIREMENTS:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and other basic mathematical conceptsAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percentMust have organizational skills in order to keep track of inventory and keep clean work areaMust be reliable and dependable, work all shifts and arrive on timeSatisfactory customer service skillsMust be able to follow all basic skills, responsibilities and accountabilitiesMust adhere to all Flogistix safety proceduresMust be able to lift 50lbsMust be able to work both in warehouse and outdoors in extreme weather conditionsProficient in MS Office, SAP, and flexible to learning new technologyHave effective communication, including written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsHave the ability to work in a team to deliver results in dynamic and fast paced environmentsThis is a safety sensitive positionEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:High school Diploma or GED
