Material Handler

Material HandlerWe are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations. This position involves operating a forklift to pick up, move, and stage shipments throughout the facility, while safely loading materials onto pallets and transporting them to the appropriate loading docks.ResponsibilitiesOperate a forklift safely to move materials and shipments throughout the facility.Pick up and transport shipments to the correct loading docks and staging areas.Load and organize materials onto pallets for shipment.Perform frequent heavy lifting and physically demanding warehouse tasks.Inspect materials and shipments for accuracy and proper handling.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines.Qualifications/RequirementsPrevious warehouse or material handling experience preferred.Forklift experience or certification preferred.Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials throughout the workday.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
