Senior Accountant

- Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets accounting functions.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements, budget vs. actual analysis, and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting principles and standards.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of financial results.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Lead the preparation for and support the annual financial audit.
- Provide guidance and training to other members of the finance team.
- Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, including experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting principles and standards.
- Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
