Salary: $170K–$210K + Bonus

I’m working with a national defense law firm seeking a Data Privacy & AI Governance Attorney to join its growing Intellectual Property and Technology practice.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of data privacy, AI governance, cybersecurity and litigation with the resources and platform of a national practice.

The Position

The Data Privacy & AI Governance Attorney will advise clients on evolving privacy and technology regulations while supporting both proactive compliance initiatives and privacy-related litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on U.S. privacy laws and regulatory requirements.
• Counsel clients on AI governance and emerging AI regulations.
• Draft privacy, data processing and AI-related agreements and policies.
• Conduct privacy and AI risk assessments.
• Handle privacy litigation, including data breach and class action matters.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Must be admitted to practice in at least one state and federal jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, or AI governance legal practice
• Strong knowledge of U.S. privacy laws; AI governance experience preferred
• Strong analytical, writing, communication and client-service skills

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 – $210,000 . [Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.]
