Senior Full Stack Java Developer

Job Duties

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer for a contract position with a Leading Pharmacy Benefit Manager located in Eagan, MN. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

Pay range: $80.73 - $83.23 per hour

This role is for a Full-Stack Java Developer on an Agile team working on a fully cloud-based application on GCP. The team is focused on developing new features, including an emphasis on AI-first engineering. The position requires experience with microservices architecture using Spring Boot and Kafka, along with deploying code to a cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new features, including AI-driven solutions

• Analyze and evaluate proposed application systems to process data

• Design, code, test, debug, and document programs

• Collaborate with business users, systems analysts, technical leads, and project managers to establish specifications

• Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, and system interfaces

• Install applications into production environments following change control processes

• Develop and implement acceptance test plans to ensure product meets customer requirements

• Assist and provide technical advice to other team members

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Java developer with Spring Boot

• Strong experience with Kafka for communication between microservices

• Cloud experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure) with an understanding of how to deploy code to the cloud

• Database experience (Postgres or other platforms) with required SQL skills

• Experience working in an Agile environment

Desired skills:

• Experience with AI First Engineering (CoPilot, Claude, agents, prompt engineering)

• Strong collaboration and leadership skills

• Experience with React
