Job Summary This position exists to assist with the processing of applications for retirement and payment of refunds requested by MSRS defined benefit plan members. The duties of the position must be completed within strict deadlines and the incumbent must be able to prioritize multiple tasks. This position will also assist with MNDCP participant distributions, the MSRS Unclassified Plan refund entry process, evaluate and enter participant data, coordinate correspondence to participants, and provide administrative support to the Minnesota State Retirement Systems Retirement Services division. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to: Review and process defined benefit retirement applications. Perform and/or assist with the refund or rollover processing from the defined benefit plan. Complete new entries and updates for periodic payments. Enter and process distribution requests for MSRS defined benefit plans.
