Forklift / Warehouse Associate
Partners Personnel is seeking reliable Forklift / Warehouse Associates to join an industrial logistics and packaging company in Granite City, IL. This position works in an industrial warehouse and production environment handling bulk liquid and chemical products used for packaging, storage, and distribution.
Job Title: Forklift / Warehouse Associate
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, MondayFriday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down forklift as needed throughout the shift
- Unload empty drums from inbound containers (approximately 35 lbs each)
- Move, stage, and organize materials/products throughout the facility
- Supply drums and materials to production lines
- Label product and prepare shipments for outbound shipping
- Assist with pulling orders and general warehouse duties
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Requirements
- Sit-down forklift experience required
- Warehouse, production, or industrial experience preferred
- Must be comfortable with physical and repetitive work
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs consistently throughout the shift
- Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Must have reliable transportation
