Job Overview Registered Nurse (Med/Surg Telemetry) – Night Shift in Towson, MD. 9‑week contract for an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN with telemetry, stroke (NIHSS/mRS), and EKG proficiency. Dynamic healthcare team serving the Towson/Baltimore area. Job Details Location: Towson, MD 21204 (Baltimore area) Contract Duration: 9 weeks Start Date: May 26, 2026 Shift: 12 Hour Nights Shifts per week: 3 Hours per week: 36 Employment Type: Local, On‑Site Contract RN Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,603 - $1,781 Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience Minimum 2 years of stroke nursing experience; preferred if have stroke nurse experience Current, active RN license in Maryland BLS certification (AHA) EKG proficiency and telemetry monitoring experience mRS and NIHSS certifications (required for stroke assessment) Primary Responsibilities Provide compassionate, evidence‑based care on a medical‑surgical telemetry unit as a Telemetry RN Continuously monitor and accurately interpret EKGs and telemetry data Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for stroke patients using NIHSS and mRS tools Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses clearly and efficiently in the medical record Deliver patient and family education focused on recovery, secondary prevention, and discharge planning Benefits Competitive weekly pay for local contract RNs Opportunity to expand stroke and telemetry nursing skills 401K with Matching, Healthcare, Dental, and Vision Equal Opportunity Employer We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity across our organization.
