An excellent opportunity for a Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine physician to join a well-supported hospitalist team in Rome, New York . This nocturnist role offers a predictable schedule, manageable patient load, and outstanding compensation —ideal for physicians seeking work–life balance and stability.
Position HighlightsNocturnist role : 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
7 days on / 7 days off
Low nightly census : ~5–10 patients
No on-call duties
Open ICU with 24/7 intensivist backup
EMR: Paragon
Strong subspecialty, nursing & care management support
⚕️ Teaching & mentorship opportunities (if applicable)
✅ Board Eligible (within 1 year) or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
New York license (or willingness to obtain)
DEA required
Clean malpractice & license history
1 year hospitalist or nocturnist experience preferred (not required)
New grads welcome (BE within 1 year)
❌ No locums
❌ No 1099 candidates
Guaranteed base salary: $325,000
$15,000 sign-on bonus
