Endoscopy TechnicianThe Endoscopy Technician will:Assist in the admission, transfer and discharge of patients to/from the endoscopy room.Participate in preparation of endoscopy room and contributes to the efficiency of the endoscopy suites by communicating all pertinent information to the appropriate staff.Be completely knowledgeable of care, handling and reprocessing of equipment and instrumentation.Provide and maintain safety, comfort and cleanliness.Participate in planning and evaluation of patient care by communicating all information pertinent to patient's status.Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent.Successful completion of on-site Endoscopy Technician training program.Ability to use critical thinking to carry out assignments/procedures independently, according to policies and procedures.Scope reprocessing must be obtained within six (6) months of hire.BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.Scope reprocessing certification required within 6 months of hire.Salary Range: 18.47 - 28.61 USDWe offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data.
