As part of Henry Ford Health's Community Care Services, the Super Vision Center is dedicated to expanding access to essential eye care services. Our team is committed to meeting patients where they are, providing comprehensive optical solutions, and ensuring a seamless experience. We focus on community-based programs that deliver high-quality care, support services, and care coordination, making a meaningful impact across diverse populations.

Role Overview

As the Mgr- General OptimEyes, you will lead the Super Vision Center team in delivering exceptional customer service, exceeding patient expectations, and driving practice growth. You will oversee daily operations, resolve patient concerns, and ensure financial and operational goals are met, playing a vital role in advancing our mission of accessible, high-quality eye care.

What You Will Do

• Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided by all team members.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and review daily budget goals.
• Analyze Key Performance Indicators to identify growth opportunities.
• Center by managing budgets, monitoring revenue and expenses, and achieving profit objectives aligned with Henry Ford OptimEyes goals
• Oversee daily office operations with precision, ensuring smooth workflows and efficient resource allocation
• Analyze Key Performance Indicators to identify growth opportunities and implement data-driven improvements
• Establish and enforce consistent standard operating procedures across all office functions
• Maintain accurate records and prepare insightful reports that inform strategic decision-making

Patient Experience & Community Impact

• Champion exceptional customer service by setting high standards and ensuring every team member consistently exceeds patient expectations
• Anticipate patient needs and take proactive action to create memorable experiences that strengthen loyalty and community reputation
• Resolve patient concerns promptly and professionally within established guidelines
• Build strong community relationships and establish the Super Vision Center as a trusted local resource for comprehensive eye care

Strategic Growth & Collaboration

• Partner with the Director of Clinical Services to strategize performance improvements and enhance office outcomes
• Promote Henry Ford OptimEyes in local markets through targeted practice-building activities and community engagement
• Lead office and corporate initiatives that measure and improve both team member and organizational performance
• Collaborate with store managers to develop ambitious sales and profit objectives that drive sustainable growth

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous managerial experience required
• Previous optical experience required
• Strong business acumen and financial understanding, including financial analysis
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to organize and prioritize daily activities for self and team members
• Requires the ability to efficiently organize and prioritize daily activities for self and team members to accomplish goals
• Requires demonstration of managerial, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Requires completion of all required training courses as dictated by Henry Ford OptimEyes
• Must meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined in the HFHS’ Customer Service Policy
• Must practice the customer skills as provided through on-going training and in-services

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree
• ABO certification
