Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8 Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:45 - 15:15) Experience: 3 years preferred; will consider 2 years if strong experience is evident License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Strong general OR and robotics experience - Skills to scrub and circulate Description: Seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a day shift position. This position requires 3 years of experience in the operating room, but 2 years may be acceptable if significant experience is demonstrated. First-time travelers are welcome if they possess strong general OR and robotics experience. The role involves scrubbing and circulating duties. The facility is a Level II Trauma center. Type of cases includes general OR cases with trauma, urology, podiatry, orthopedics, plastics, neurosurgery, gynecology, ENT, thoracic, vascular, cardiology, bariatrics, and DaVinci robotics cases. Electronic Medical Records system used is Epic. On-call commitments include 5-6 calls per 4 weeks, with both weekday and weekend on-call duties. Travelers must float within specialty and may be required to assist at nearby locations as needed. Weekend work is rotational and includes on-call shifts. Mandatory holiday coverage as scheduled. Compliance with safety and universal protocols is expected. Candidates must arrive within 30 minutes of being called in for emergencies.
