Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Tacoma, Washington

Shift: 8H Days M-F, 0730-1630, minimal call required

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI procedures using GE and Phillips equipment. The department operates with 3 scanners/rooms, EPIC and McKesson PACS systems, and may require starting IVs. Expected to manage an average of 12 scans/studies per day.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct nuclear medicine procedures in the radiology department.
• Operate imaging equipment such as GE and Phillips.
• Perform stress tests, bone scans, thyroid, and GI procedures.
• Manage an average of 12 scans/studies per day.
• Assist with IV placements as needed.
• Collaborate with in-house radiologist team.

Requirements:

• 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience.
• BLS certification.
• WA License.
• Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT) verification.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuc Med) - ARRT (N) verification.
