Key Responsibilities:

• Discovery Management: Draft, review, and respond to discovery requests with precision.
• Legal Document Preparation: Prepare and respond to motions and legal memoranda, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
• Background Investigations: Conduct comprehensive background checks to support case development.
• Client and Witness Coordination: Organize and manage meetings with clients, attorneys, and expert witnesses.
• In-Depth Legal Research: Perform detailed legal research to support case strategies.
• Medical Review: Analyze and review medical records to build strong cases.
• Case Analysis: Write clear and concise case analyses and reports for clients.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in civil litigation defense.
• Bar Admission: Admission to the Missouri Bar is required; Illinois Bar admission is preferred but not required.
• Legal Writing and Presentation: Proven ability to write and present well-reasoned legal arguments.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-Motivated: A self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and drives them to completion.
• Caseload Management: Ability to manage and prioritize a complex caseload effectively.

Each file handled by our firm is assigned a supervisor to further assist the client, by ensuring that the claim is handled appropriately. However, supervisors do not charge clients for the supervision they provide. We utilize technology to keep research costs at a minimum and to improve turnaround on requests for information.
