Locums Radiation Oncology Lexington, KY (KY License or IMLC) Why This Role

Assignment Details

Shift: 7:00 a.m. Äì4:00 p.m.
Schedule: Primarily Tuesday ÄìFriday
Coverage Dates:
Setting: Ambulatory Radiation Oncology clinic
Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day
Call: None
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Emergency credentialing may be completed in approximately one week with a complete, clean application
Local Candidates: Preferred but not required

Requirements

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist
Active Kentucky license or IMLC Letter of Qualification in hand
Radiation Oncology residency and applicable fellowship training
BLS required by the start date
DEA required for the assignment; prescription-plan accommodation may be considered while issuance is pending
Clean background and malpractice history
Availability for one or more complete listed coverage blocks
ACLS and PALS are beneficial but not required

Clinical Details

Oversee Radiation Oncology treatments
Complete new consultations and follow-up visits
Perform treatment planning and patient status checks
Participate in tumor conferences
Provide SBRT, SRS, IMRT, and 3D conformal radiation therapy
Treat patients across various oncologic disease states
Work with one RN, four radiation therapists, two medical physicists, and three dosimetrists
No admissions, call, or weekend coverage
