Nurse Practitioner Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Location: Benton & Henry Counties, TN

Job Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $40 to $50 per hour

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

Provide primary care services to uninsured adult patients.
Deliver wellness, preventive, and contraceptive care to eligible patients.
Perform clinical screening and treatment for communicable diseases, including STDs and Hepatitis C.
Provide patient education focused on disease prevention and recommended immunizations.
Follow health department guidelines, protocols, and program recommendations.
Participate in county and regional activities as requested by supervisors.
Maintain professional development requirements established by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
Provide services at alternate health department locations when required.

Requirements

Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialty.
Valid, unrestricted Tennessee APRN and RN licenses.
Current Family Nurse Practitioner certification through a national credentialing organization such as ANCC or AANP.
Primary care experience preferred.
Valid Tennessee driver's license.
Reliable transportation for occasional travel between health department locations.
