Kubernetes Application Engineer [Remote]

Job Responsibilities:

Build and deploy cloud-native applications using containerization tools
Implement Kubernetes configurations and assist in CI/CD pipeline development
Write code in programming languages such as Python, Go, and Rust
Collaborate with teams to integrate applications with various systems and services
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment, scaling, and performance

Skills:

Strong foundation in one or two of the following areas: containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), programming languages (Python, Go, Rust), or CI/CD and automation (GitLab CI/CD, Software Factory pipelines)
Willingness to learn and grow with the team
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for security, scalability, and performance
Experience with managing Helm charts and data application building (Streamlit)
Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, k9s, Helm)
Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Go, Rust)
Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools (GitLab CI/CD, Software Factory pipelines)
Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), service mesh technologies (Istio), and monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree
