We are seeking a reliable, mechanically inclined Electrical / Mechanical Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems who is eager to expand their skills through hands-on training. Industry certifications are a plus, but not required for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
- Diagnose electrical issues using meters, test equipment, and logical troubleshooting methods
- Work with motors, relays, sensors, switches, and control components
- Assist with mechanical assemblies, adjustments, and component replacements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Required Qualifications
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems (AC/DC, low voltage, controls, etc.)
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to learn, be trained, and grow within the company
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance experience
- Trade school, vocational training, or technical certifications
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or service environments
- Any relevant certifications (or willingness to obtain them)
