Manual Machinist Job Category: Operations Requisition Number: MANUA002725 Posted: June 1, 2026 Full-Time On-site Mobile, AL 36615, USA Description Experience & Qualifications High School or equivalent Technical/Trade School preferred A minimum of 2 years in the valve repair industry TWIC, OSHA Safety, Security Passport Competencies Strong Mechanical Aptitude Tenacious Professionally Articulate Professional in appearance and actions Demonstrated ability to read, write and verbalize in a professional, organized manner Highly inquisitive about industrial process industry Successful in interfacing with customers, internal and external Demonstrated problem solving abilities Self-Starter and Self-Directed Typical Duties & Responsibilities Safely and accurately perform the following machining processes Maintain knowledge of digital read-outs (DRO) Machine nozzles and discs including polishing using the lathe in the shop and the field Machine broken studs on small bodies using the drill press Hone internal bores Use magnetic drill for stud removal Use drill press or pneumatic tools for disking seats Machine flanges (raised-face, RTJ ring joint, Grayloc, lens-ring, etc.) Machine seats and trim (gate, globe, and check valves) Machine gear operator segments Operate the following machines: milling machine, VTL, drill press, surface grinder, horizontal mill, manual lathes, honing tools, band and cut-off saw, and Lap Master The above list of duties and responsibilities does not constitute the entire list and the list can be changed when necessary at the discretion of management when business needs, customer demands, and other industry or job related circumstances arise.
