Clark College is currently seeking to fill part-time Allied Health Professor positions. This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. Applicants must be available to teach the daytime, evening or weekend hours. Positions will be filled as program needs arise. Position Responsibilities

GENERAL FACULTY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Instruct classes utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning.
• Instruct hybrid Basic Anatomy and Physiology course and hybrid medical terminology course.
• Participate in decision-making processes by taking part in department and college committees.
• Pursue professional development.
• Strive to enhance teaching and learning techniques.
• Work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
• Understand and commit to the mission of Clark College.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Medical Technology, Life Science, or related field OR Associate of Science degree in Health Science, Medical Technology, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Two (2) years of teaching experience.
• Ability to work well as a member of a team.
• Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT:

Prior to a new hire, a background check including criminal record history will be conducted which includes a sexual misconduct background check as required under RCW 28B.112.080 .
