SAP BUSINESS NETWORK (SBN-ARIBA) ANALYST

Position SummaryThe SAP Business Network (SBN-Ariba) Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integrations between SAP ERP systems and the SAP Business Network (SBN) and Ariba. This role ensures seamless supplier collaboration, procurement automation, and data exchange across purchasing, invoicing, logistics, and supply chain processes. The position partners closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and external partners to deliver stable, scalable, and highquality integration solutions.Position ResponsibilitiesIntegration Design & DevelopmentDesign SBN integrations for procurement, invoicing, supply chain collaboration, and supplier connectivityDevelop and maintain SAP BTP/CPI interfaces for SBN transactions (POs, ASN, invoices, confirmations, etc.)Configure SBN components including supplier onboarding, network rules, and document flowsBuild and support IDoc, API, EDI, and CXMLbased integrationsEnsure integration solutions follow SAP best practices, security standards, and architectural guidelinesImplementation & SupportLead SBN integration testing including SIT, UAT, and regression cyclesTroubleshoot and resolve issues across SAP ECC/S4, CPI, and SBNSupport supplier enablement and onboarding activitiesMonitor and optimize integration performance and message flowsCollaboration & DeliveryWork with procurement, supply chain, finance, and IT teams to understand requirementsPartner with SAP functional analysts to translate business needs into technical solutionsCoordinate with suppliers and external partners to validate connectivity and data qualityProvide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teamsGovernance & Continuous ImprovementMaintain integration standards and reusable frameworksIdentify opportunities for automation, simplification, and process optimizationSupport release management, change control, and production deployment activitiesStay current on SAP SBN, BTP, and integration technology updatesNature & ScopeHR will fill in – please do not enter anything in this areaKnowledge & SkillsRequired Skills & ExperienceHandson expertise with SAP CPI/BTP, IDocs, APIs, EDI, CXML, and SBN/Ariba NetworkStrong understanding of procuretopay, ordertocash, or supply chain collaboration processesExperience with supplier onboarding, network configuration, and document mappingCompetenciesAbility to troubleshoot complex integration issues across multiple systemsStrong communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholdersEnsure data quality and perform regular system audits, validations, and compliance checks.Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials.Support UAT, regression testing, and deployment activities for new features/releases.Provide end-user support, training, and troubleshooting.Ensure system security, compliance, and SOX controls are met.Experience5-7+ years of experience supporting SAP Ariba or SAP Business Network solutions.5–7+ years of experience in SAP integration developmentStrong understanding of procurement and source-to-pay processes.Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP integration.Knowledge of cXML, EDI, supplier enablement, and electronic document exchange.Experience in requirements gathering and business process analysis.Education/CertificationBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.People Management NoPhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentMust be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.Reports To: IT ManagerThe Company provides equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants regardless of a person’s race, color, religion (including religious dress or grooming practices), creed, national origin (including language use restrictions), citizenship, uniform service member or veteran status, ancestry, disability, physical or mental disability (including HIV/AIDS), medical condition (including cancer and genetic characteristics), genetic information, request for protected leave, marital status, sex, pregnancy, age (over 40), sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, political affiliation, or any other characteristic protected by law.
