This is a full-time, paid benefited position that entails classroom and on-the-job training within the 40-hour work week. All tuition costs are covered.What does a Medical Assistant (MA) do?Medical Assistants are an integral part of the medical team and provide care to patients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Working under the close supervision of a physician or advanced practice clinician, MAs perform select clinical functions to enhance delivery of patient care, including rooming the patient, taking vital signs, administering medication, and following up with patients by phone or MyChart. The MA apprenticeship is a full-time paid position. After completion of the program, the apprentice will be able to work as a Medical Assistant within the Endeavor Health system.
