This role offers hands-on experience inspecting products, using basic measuring tools, and ensuring parts meet company quality standards. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.Quality control responsibilities include but are not limited to:Review shop routings to determine inspection requirements.Perform pre-inspections on parts before plating or coating.Verify proper gauges and inspection tools are available.Attach plating coupons when required.Check part counts, inspect for visual defects, and perform dimensional checks as needed.Conduct in-process inspections to verify coating thickness and appearance.Perform final inspections by:Visually inspecting parts for quality and defects.Checking dimensions and specifications according to routing requirements.Completing any required testing.Verifying final part counts.About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
