Location: Ringoes, NJ (08551)

Job Type: Part-Time

Hours: 9 AM to 1 PM, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday (16 hours per week)

Job Description:

Maya Homecare is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)to provide care for a 94-year-old woman with dementia in Ringoes, NJ. This position offers 16 hours per week , with shifts from 9 AM to 1 PM on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday .

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with bathing and personal hygiene
Provide medication reminders (she frequently asks if she’s taken her medication)
Prepare and assist with lunch
Offer general companionship and support
Ensure safety and provide mobility assistance as needed (she uses a cane)

Requirements:

Valid CHHA certification in the state of New Jersey
must be a female
Experience working with elderly patients , particularly those with dementia
Compassionate, reliable, and attentive to detail
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Must be able to provide medication reminders and assist with daily living activities

About the Family: The client lives with her son and other family members. While the family is present, the client requires assistance with daily tasks. The ideal candidate will have a caring, professional attitude and be able to provide high-quality care in a home setting.
