Financial Analyst

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst develops, analyzes, and interprets financial and operational information to support decision‑making across the business. The role partners closely with operations, sales, and division finance to drive performance improvement, cost control, and strategic planning. Well suited to a finance or accounting professional who is analytical, systems‑comfortable, and eager to grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts; provide financial reporting and analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast. Partner with sales and operational leaders to deliver financial analysis, modeling, and insight that supports business initiatives. Analyze financial and operational data to recommend improvements to margin, cost efficiency, and overall performance. Maintain and enhance BI dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools. Perform month‑end close activities, including journal entries and preparation of management reporting packages. Conduct cost analysis across materials, labor, overhead, and production variances. Create, maintain, and optimize reports within the financial planning system; perform ad court analysis and support special projects.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2+ years experience Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Comfort with ERP systems and financial planning or consolidation tools. Proficiency with Excel; experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
