Expectation for turnovers is less than 20 minutes.Special equipment 3 Davinci robots. Use Stealth technology for Neuro navigation and use primarily Synthes or Stryker for ortho trauma. We don t do many ortho joints.How many suites 16 OR s. Run from 12-14 routinely. As a level 1 trauma center, we reserve space for traumas.Service lines -Cardiac/ PV, Neuro, ortho (primarily trauma), robotics, gyn, uro, general, pediatrics, transplants. We do a small volume of ENT and plastic procedures.Scrub or Circulate both would be preferred.Other the call for weekends is from end of shift on Friday until 0630am Monday.Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran Iowa Methodist Submission requirements: Orientation Dates: 2/2, 2/9, 2/162+ years of current operating room experience [required]circulating / operating roomexperience [required]scrub experience [preferred]strong Cardiac, vascular, thoracic proficiency experienceincluding General Surgery experience[required]additionalexperience in the following cases:(daVinci robotics, pediatrics, trauma, Neurology, orthopedics(primarily trauma), gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, Ear, nose, throat, Vascular) [highly preferred]EPIC electronic medical systems experience within previous 3 years [required]Trauma Level I experience [highly preferred]No 1st time travelers, must have completed a travel assignment within previous 12 mos.Scrub experience needed including open heart scrubbing [highly preferred]PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current operating room experience[required]Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Operating Room Nurse, scrub/scrubbing) [required]Nursy s must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission [required] [document]Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date[preferred]Driver s License[document] [required]AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSSBLS [required] Rate:99 OnCall:up to 2 overnight/week and 4 weekends per 13 week contract WeekendDescription:call schedule; Fri 5p through Mon 6:30a Certifications:BLS (AHA) StateLicenses:Iowa
