Patient Experience Representative- Per diem (Weekday overnights)

Position Summary As a per diem Patient Experience representative, you will provide per diem support to the inpatient Cardiac ICU unit, ensuring the best possible patient experience by coordinating services for patients and families and supporting departmental and hospital operations. Schedule Weekdays: 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Every other Friday, Saturday, and holiday night shift: 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. Key Responsibilities Patient Encounter Management Provide positive and effective customer service that supports unit operations. Collaborate with referring providers and practices. Obtain required authorizations to compile patient and staff schedules. Schedule patients and support patient encounters. Administrative Record and forward messages, triage calls for urgent information or services, and initiate calls for emergency services. Process admissions and discharges. Provide routine clerical support as needed. Minimum Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and demonstrate empathy in difficult interpersonal situations. Ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
