Arizona Steel is hiring a Material Handler / Loader to help load and unload customer orders, pull material, and support daily yard operations.

This is a physically demanding, hands-on position in a fast-paced steel yard. You will be loading and unloading heavy steel material, pulling orders, and working in extreme Arizona weather.

Job Duties Include:

? ?Pulling orders for will call and deliveries
? ?Assisting with simple chop saw cuts on steel tubing and bar
? ?Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe
? ?Learning steel sizes, gauges, dimensions, and product names
? ?Helping customers and team members throughout the day

Training starts on the floor on your first day. You will learn the material Arizona Steel carries, including square tubing, solid bar, corrugated sheets, steel gauges, and other common steel products. We provide hands-on training, a mini study guide, and team support while you learn.

What Were Looking For:

? ?Reliable and punctual
? ?Able to work outdoors in Arizona heat
? ?Able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy material
? ?Willing to learn steel products and terminology
? ?Team-oriented with a good attitude
? ?Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
? ?Prior warehouse, construction, landscaping, loading, or material handling experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8 AM5 PM or 7 AM-4PM, with rotating Saturdays, 8 AM-12 PM as needed

After 3 months of your start date there will be an evaluation and depending on how you do, you can earn a raise just after 3 months of being employed with AZ Steel!
