Job Description

The Med/Surg unit 7 North-Spine is seeking a Travel RN to provide comprehensive nursing care for patients. The unit consists of 18-20 beds and employs a dedicated staff of nurses, LPNs, and PCTs to ensure high-quality care. Nurses in this unit are expected to handle a patient ratio of 6:1 with the assistance of LPNs.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound and dressing care on post-op burn and flap patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient status and response to treatment.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate records using Meditech EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• Preferred: Experience in Burn Care, Wound Care, and Ostomy Care; ACLS certification.
