Job Responsibilities Support Padding SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) improvement initiatives. Assist with Inline Deckles Optimization projects to improve material utilization and operational efficiency. Support Warehouse MDI (Managing for Daily Improvement) implementation activities. Collect, analyze, and report manufacturing performance data. Participate in process observations and continuous improvement efforts. Assist in documenting standard work procedures and process improvements. Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams. Support lean manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives. Develop recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organization and project management abilities. Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Interest in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Experience and Education Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant coursework in manufacturing systems, process improvement, engineering design, or operations. Previous project, laboratory, or internship experience preferred.
