Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a range of standard and complex laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-with adherence to established protocols.
• Assess test results for correctness, address discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as needed.
• Ensure all processes are meticulously documented, mentor new team members or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Uphold a clean and safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health, plus ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain your certification throughout your tenure.
