Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in AlabamaThe organization is seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Nurse to join their surgical team. The role involves providing patient care during surgical procedures, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR personnel to ensure high standards of safety and efficiency. The OR Nurse will demonstrate critical thinking, leadership, and adherence to regulatory standards while maintaining excellent communication with team members and patients families.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/31/2026
• Required Qualifications: AL RN or multi-state RN license; ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association; 4 years recent OR RN experience in a hospital setting; experience in OR Circulator with Endoscopy; facility specialties include Endoscopy, Orthopedic, and General surgery, with a preference for ENT and GYN experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with specified OR specialties as above
• Additional Information: The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring supplies and timely case management, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgeries, and supervising patient care personnel. Candidates must be available to work Monday-Friday with Call responsibilities once a month, including one weekend, from 3 pm to 6:30 am.
