About the Position

Enterprise Medical Recruiting is assisting a leading health system in Owensboro, Kentucky, with the recruitment of a BC/BE Gastroenterologist with advanced endoscopy training to join an established, growing practice. This hospital-employed opportunity offers an $800,000 guaranteed base salary for three years, a $100,000 upfront bonus, and significant opportunity to expand advanced endoscopy services across a regional market with substantial unmet demand.

Practice & Opportunity Highlights

• Join a team of 5 gastroenterologists, including 3 general GIs, 1 GI hospitalist, and 1 part-time GI transitioning to hospitalist-only duties
• Become the primary physician for advanced endoscopy, including ERCP and EUS, currently covered by advanced GI locums
• Opportunity to perform advanced procedures while maintaining some general GI volume
• Significant potential to grow the advanced endoscopy service line and capture unmet regional demand
• Opportunity to introduce additional advanced procedures, including third-space endoscopy, not currently available in the region
• Four endoscopy suites
• Robust referral network serving an 18-county region with a population exceeding 500,000
• Integrated Epic EMR across clinics and hospitals
