SQL Programmer

Titan Professional Resources is partnering with a valued client to identify a detail-oriented SQL Programmer. This individual will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting database-driven solutions within an insurance-focused environment. The position works collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure reliable data processes, accurate reporting, and efficient system performance.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign, write, and maintain SQL queries to support business operations and reporting needsPerform database troubleshooting, testing, and debugging to ensure optimal performanceCollaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutionsBuild and modify queries utilizing joins, filters, aggregations, and grouping techniquesAssist in the development and maintenance of basic stored proceduresImprove and streamline data processes to enhance overall system functionality and efficiencyValidate data integrity and accuracy across multiple systemsDocument processes, code updates, and system changes as neededRequired QualificationsProven experience writing and optimizing SQL queries (including SELECT, JOIN, and GROUP BY statements)Familiarity with stored procedures and basic database programming conceptsGeneral understanding of programming or scripting principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExposure to Python for data manipulation or automation tasksPrior experience working with insurance-related systems or familiarity with industry terminologyWorking knowledge of additional programming or web technologies such as PHP, HTML, or Java
